(click here) Silastic medical adhesive silicone Type A is a one-component, low-slump, translucent silicone material for bonding silicone elastomers to one another, as well as to some synthetics and metals. Contains no solvents. Cures at room temperature on exposure to air and moisture. While curing, the silicone adhesive gives off an acetic acid vapor. Following cure, it is of the same chemical composition as other medical grade silicone elastomers.
