General Information SDS & Technical Specs   HS Firm "Gel LV" A-340 is a unique two component, platinum cure, 100% solids, pure dimethyl gel designed for applications requiring a responsive high strength gel and has a wide variety of uses. This is a translucent, low viscosity, RTV that will cure in 24 hours at room temperature, or 15 minutes @ 120C. This High Strength gel will develop much of the same dimensional stability and non flowing characteristics of a solid silicone elastomer. Addition cure solvent less, mix ratio 10:1, long working time. A-340 should be mixed at 100 gms base A to 10 gms catalyst B by weight. Thoroughly mix in a clean polypropylene container or equivalent. Care should be taken to minimize air entrapment during mixing. Vacuum deairation at 28 inches Hg is recommended.
